We received an inch of snow and a little sleet today, and it was wild!
School closings, day care closings, etc. I am amazed at how my northern students drive and go to work with many inches of snow on the ground.

I guess we drive to work in this snow because we have learned to adapt to it. It's not the easiest thing to do sometimes, but we have to do it. Did you take advantage of the snow and play in it a little bit? I have not had the chance to go sledding yet, but it will happen before winter is over. I will have to post a picture of us sledding for everyone to see all of our snow. Have a great week and see you in the DB.

We get snow all the time so its nothing to us, but you guys must really be thinking your in heaven! lol I really think that you should get some more then you can go sledding and have another snow day! They got snow in Illinois while I have been here and some at home in Wisconsin. I dont mind to drive in it I just don't like the winds and the cold windchills that we are having thats what scares me! I am 5 hours from home. Long drive when its nasty cold!

Sounds like our day here today. My kids were off of school today and we got about 4 inches of snow overnight!! I am glad I was prepared to stay at home for the day, would not have wanted to go out and try to navigate the roads!! Have a great weekend!!

Good evening! Haha - I started to read your blog post and thought wait! Feb.7? How'd she do that?...then I remembered the time zone difference! Isn't it kind of late in the season for snow there? Maybe it's hard for me to recall, having lived in SW Arizona for the past five years!
